boxing day shopping madness!
I have pulled 20 hours at DJs over two days thanks to the after-christmas sales. Ugh. Boxing day was INSANE, people everywhere and it didn't start to slow down until 8pm!
Here's s super duper shopping tip - Versace sunnies are going out at $50-$70. Reduced from about $300. The guy when I told him today that some Versace sunnies were $70, asked me repeatedly about the price cause he couldn't believe it. They're old season stock, but come on, its a really good deal!
In other sunglasses news I sold a pair of $620 Gucci to Mrs Myliotis!
Something that has made me laugh lately has been Keya's rant on midgets:
"for those of you who dont know, i have a great fear and repulsion of midgets and small people in general. Im truly sorry if thhis offends anyone, but i cant be polite about these people, they scare the shit out of me with their little arms and legs and disproportioned bodies. The fear, which has been escalated by my friends britt and alison who have a greater and much deeper fear of midgets than me, i think stems from my hatred of ooompa loompas (although i will say that the willy wonka movies would be crap without them...) and the fact that once i was at the playground with my friend eliza on the see saw and a dwarf girl with down syndrome pulled my earrign out of my ear and tore a hole on my ear.........ANYWAY....this indian midget man was a freak. He was the parking organiser guy, he was basically teeling people where they could park on the street and then collecting fees etc except that he was dumb and couldnt do his job and parked us in because he let another car park horizontally infront of us so we had to wait forever for the owner of the car to come and move the car. And then the owner of the car had a fight with the midget man and it was scary because the midget man's eyes went red. i think he was drunk."
