Birthday High Tea @ the Swissotel
I knew there were two words that would suck all my uni friends in: Dessert. Buffet. Promises of giddy sugar heights, gorgeous little desserts, and a chocolate fountain!
Mary was the first to arrive, and she got me one of the best presents ever! She made a t-shirt that said 'Donna' on the front, and 'Producer Extraordinaire' on the back! Also, she got me the cutest little earring and necklace to match! Melissa, gosh that girl puts in effort. She drove all the way from the BLUE MOUNTAINS, which is where she lives. Yes. The Blue Mountains. And I thought getting up to Wahroonga was hard! Gorgeous chandelier earrings and silver bangle from Luci. I wore the bangle straight away, I love it, it's such a simple and versatile piece! I'm sitting here and typing in the pink poodle PJs set that Anna got me, and i'm taking the set to Byron! It's bright pink and it makes me happy :)
Oh gosh, the creme brulee was soooo good. The fruit & chocolate tart was also very very good. The Sweet Berries (Strawberry & Raspberry) pink tea was a hit, not at all like the disappointing Twinings Raspberry tea i've tried before. I don't think words are enough ... just have a look at the photo!
Afterwards we went shopping, to the Myer sale which was a bit of a let down. However, we did manage to get a photo of Mary next to her favourite store, and namesake!
