nothing

After so many weeks posting about 'something', here's a random post.

  • Why can't I get anyone to speak about depleted uranium for Couch TV? I've rung/emailed/left messages for 16 people/organisations so far, and I haven't gotten anyone to come on the show, let alone the 3 panellists I need to get in less than 2 weeks. Grrr!
  • Thank goodness Big Brother is ending tonight.
  • I'm technically supposed to be working on this film project, but the people haven't contacted me in a while, and i'm afraid to contact them, in case they make me do work, because i'm really flat out at the moment.
  • I got a new job as a transcriber for the radio programs AM, PM, & The World Today! I'm much excited, although I hope they keep me on, and don't kick me out when the people who usually do the job come back from holiday.
  • Started uni today, and was happy to see that I have Andrew again for Doco Production! Although I walked into class, and was like "Who are all these people?!" because the majority of my class are postgrad & masters students.
  • Anyone got a good idea for a doco?
  • Lodging my tax return tomorrow. Ugh. Need to scrounge around and find all my necessary documents.
  • If I could ever sing, I'd love to sing like Karen O ... or Sarah Blasko ... OR Lenka from Decoder Ring.
  • I've been missing so much TAFE lately. I need to go to class, but sometimes it's just excrutiating. Just 3 months. And then i'll have the piece of paper.
  • 24 is finishing this week, and Jack's gonna take down President Logan!
  • Gotten hooked into the Editors, The New Pornographers, Mogwai and am considering going to the She Wants Revenge concert, seeing now I can fund it.
  • I never finished that script I planned to write last holidays.

Who am I kidding? This post is just a big fat exercise in procrastination. Ok, i'm going now. Really. Off to finish the 'Marketing' section of my business plan for TAFE. I stress the word 'finish'.

    4 hours at Sizzler

Our trip to Sizzler had been hyped all holidays, as the ULTIMATE outing for the uni people. Keya & Mary had been drooling all holidays, conversations in F&V Production that went sort of like "Omigosh the cheese toast! the toast! the cheesiness! it's so soft and crunchy at the same time! how do they do it?". The cheese toast was actually quite good - and as Mary discovered, you can ask for more!

On the drive there, with Keya ferrying Luci, Anna, Mary and myself, we had the most insightful discussion: "Seriously, I don't have any conscious memory of myself growing pubes!"

We're often late for class, but this time for Sizzler, we were there on the dot. 12:30pm, where we were joined by Mel. When we were walking up to the door of Sizzler, Luci was like "I'm scared now. I've built it up so much in my head, I don't want to be disappointed!"

But I don't think she was disappointed, because we had the most fun eating and mucking around. Highlights included:
  • Indako putting the complimentary mint jaffas in a cup of coke, and turning it a festy green.
  • "This is our new dessert, 'Mong'"
  • Luci's portraits (Can you send me a copy of mine, Luci?)
  • Potato skins in ice-cream
  • "Dream Mary is such a bitch"
  • "Who said there wasn't anything as a free lunch?"
  • "My excuses for not coming into work are getting bigger. Today, I told them that my mum was in hospital to have a small operation, and I needed to be by her side. Next time, I'm going to be 'picking up my father from jail'"
  • "Castle Hill RSL goes off!"

    Some disappointments included:
  • The lack of sweet chilli sauce for the potato wedges. It's just not the same.
  • The apple crumble was no more. Instead there was apple pie, but that didn't quite cut it!

Afterwards we left and went to play on the swings, or should I say we 'waddled' to the swings. We were all really stuffed. But it was time to leave, and we all waved to each other frantically, manically as each car passed the other on the road. Good times.

    Splendour In The Mud!

    FRIDAY

We took the train up to Splendour, which was the cheapest non-car way of getting up there, but also the longest. We had a massive THIRTEEN hour trip ahead. So we started early, Johanna arriving at 5:45am, on account of her Dad giving her a lift on his way to work, so she froze for 45 mins before Sophia & I arrived. True to form, Rena arrived at 7, after numerous phone calls (Sophia - “What do you mean you just woke up?!”)

We kept ourselves amused with the dodgiest crossword, on the complimentary Countrylink magazine, and discovered the sound that a cow makes is not actually ‘moo’, but ‘low’. We stocked up on Splendour music, and Sunday Night Safran podcasts, and killed our iPod batteries.

The 3 hour bus trip (10 hours later) was driven by a guy who may have been a drill sergeant in a previous life, who gave us a thorough lecture, including such gems as:

  • “The restroom is the worst place to be in if you’re feeling ill. You won’t get any rest in the restroom.”
  • “Please do not angle the airconditioning vents down the neck of the person in front. It upsets the person in front and the balance of the airconditioning.”

We also listened to an indie-know-it-all talk throughout the 3 hour trip. He spouted things like “Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) was pissed off at Patience (The Grates) because she totally copied her mojo”. I took a little nap on the bus, and when I woke up he was STILL talking.

We finally got off the bus, bought pizza for dinner, and caught a taxi to Ballina Gardens Caravan Park. The handmade pizza was gorgeous, but they stuffed up our order so we managed to get two ‘Super Specials’, and someone, somewhere has our vegetarian pizza. The cabin was clean & cosy, and we collapsed gratefully, preparing for next day’s onslaught.

    SATURDAY
In the morning, we microwaved little apple pastries that my mum packed for me. They weren’t meant to be heated up, but they tasted delicious, and were a great early morning sugar hit.

We caught a taxi back to the bus station, for the 11:05am shuttle to Splendour. It was a shitfight to get onto the bus, with people pushing and shoving to get on board. We did get on it, using our skillz built up through many a concert. Same principle as wriggling up to the front of stage :)

We got to Belongil Fields, and had to walk through fields of horse manure (Rena was really freaked out), as well as the mud! Ohmigosh, the mud. There wasn’t any grass at Splendour, and the smart people had worn gumboots to the festival, while the rest of us trudged along ankle-deep in mud.

After a dodgy bag check, we weren’t surprised to see the massive quantities of pot and other drugs that got smuggled in. For the first hour, we grabbed lunch, and went on a fruitless search for a festival program, which stuffed us up majorly because we had no idea where and when to go for the acts we wanted to see!

  • Angus & Julia Stone

However, thanks to Sophia’s efforts, we successfully got to Angus & Julia Stone on time. Although they were shy, probably first-time festival performers, they put on a great show. I love Julia’s voice, and Angus is really awesome too. He did a great ‘Paper Aeroplane’, and all of us left the show half in love with Angus :)

  • Afterwards we left to go check out the merchandise, and there were some really great t-shirts on offer. Our haul included Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Presets & Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

  • Death Cab for Cutie
We got to the Supertop early for Death Cab, and caught the last of Youth Group’s set including a huge sing-a-long to ‘Forever Young’. Death Cab were absolutely amazing, to put it lightly. They played a lot from ‘Transatlanticism’, and some from ‘Plans’ including an uplifting version of ‘Soul Meets Body’, and my fave from their set ‘Crooked Teeth’. I was disappointed we didn’t get to hear the ‘Marching Bands of Manhattan’ though, because I’m obsessed with that song! The band was very tight, and nailed every single song.

  • The Grates
The pit was starting to get really rough, and we were pushed around a lot, so Johanna wanted to move back, and I agreed to go with her. The Grates did a great set, but I much preferred their show at the Metro, they were just better audio and performance wise, because I thought Patience got a little out of breath especially towards the end of this set. Next to Johanna and I, were these crazy drunk guys. One guy climbed onto his mate’s back to take photos of the band, and while he was up there, another of his friends implored the girls around him to smack his ass. No thanks.

  • We had a little dinner break, and I saw Talia from uni! Johanna had a sore back, so we decided to rest for a while before moving on to …

  • Mogwai
We caught the last of Lior’s set, and there were SO many people there, it was really difficult to get in. We wanted seats, and after a while of persisting, we got them, although we weren’t able to sit together. Mogwai came on and they were LOUD. Johanna had earplugs, which were probably a good idea. They bashed the shit out of their guitars, but they put on a fantastic show, ripping everyone’s eardrums with their discordant sound with a great performance of ‘Travel is Dangerous’

  • Augie March
We stayed in our seats for Augie March, who had massive technical difficulties (due to Mogwai’s aforementioned roughness with the guitar leads). They ran ½ an hour late, and got really pissed off with the tech problems that ran through their whole set. The drummer announced “This song is called ‘The Guitar Doesn’t Work’”. They started to play ‘Bottle Baby’, but then halfway through the lead singer stopped and said “Look, this song isn’t gonna save us. Any requests? Veroona? No! Any more requests?” They also played crowd favourite ‘One Crowded Hour’ and an awesome ‘Here Comes the Night’.

  • We had some time before the shuttle buses arrived so we sat near a bonfire, and listened to Sonic Youth float through the air.

At midnight we trekked back to the buses, and it was absolute CHAOS. We fought to the death to get onto the buses, and it was exactly like being back in the mosh. One of the girls joked “Hey, where’s the music?” Rena, Soph & I managed to get onto a bus, but Johanna had to wait three more buses, before she managed to catch one. I made a new friend on the bus, Shannon, who was pretty stoned, but told me great stories about being a westie from Blacktown, and how he was greeted in the pub one day by a past schoolmate who said “Hey man! How’s it going? I shot my brother in the head!” And it turned out to be true.

We caught a cab to the caravan park, it was about 3am or so, and we slept gratefully!

    SUNDAY

Weetbix for brekky, and we headed back out to the bus stop for Day 2 of our Splendour Bender! Everyone was considerably quieter today, and guess what? There was actually a LINE for the shuttle bus!

The mud had dried out overnight, so it wasn’t as squelchy as yesterday. We got to Belongil and made a beeline for …

  • Van She

The guys in Van She probably won’t be able to have children, due to the skin tight skinny leg pants on display. However, this didn’t hamper their performance, as they did great performances of ‘Sex City’ and ‘Mission’ off their EP, as well as my favourite 80s hand-clapping track ‘Kelly’!

  • What’s a music festival without gozleme? Rena, Johanna & Soph all grabbed some of our favourite savoury pancake for lunch. During lunch we had a chat to a guy from Perth who told us of the story of how after he donated blood, he cycled 25km, and predictably, fainted on his couch.

We split up afterwards, with Johanna and Rena wanting to go see Josh Pyke, and me and Soph really wanting to get in early to get a good spot for Snow Patrol. So we went back to the Supertop, to see the mystery band. All day, speculation about who this band would be floated in the air: Butterfingers? The Sleepy Jackson? The Eels? It was …

  • The Vines
The Vines did a brilliant set, and they were much tighter then i’d expect them to be. I have a soft spot for the Vines, having come from the same part of Sydney as me. They played crowd favourites ‘Outtathaway’ and ‘Get Free’, but their crowning glory was an absolutely brilliant cover of Outkast’s ‘Ms Jackson’.

  • SNOW PATROL!
Here was the reason I trekked out all the way to Byron. I’ve had a love affair with Snow Patrol, which started with ‘Songs For Polar Bears’ and progressed since. It was really suffocating up the front, but it was worth it. They played brilliantly, with all my faves ‘Chocolate’, ‘Final Straw’ and ‘Run’, with their new stuff ‘Chasing Cars’, ‘Make This Go On Forever’ and ‘You’re All I Have’. Vocals and instruments were spot on, and Gary Lightbody has this strange, but cool way of singing and moving his arms around, sort of like Sarah Blasko when he performs. The crowd was singing along passionately, and the whole experience was just gorgeous. Ahhhh.

  • Jose Gonzalez
What the guy does with his guitar is bloody amazing, he’s my favourite singer/songwriter. A dreamy performance of ‘Heartbeats’, and of ‘Hints’. The only thing that spoiled the show was the angry security guards, who kicked people (including Johanna, Soph & Rena) out of the over-full venue.

  • Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Halfway through dinner, I was like “Shit, I’m missing the Yeah Yeah Yeahs!”. So I rushed off to the Supertop, promising my friends that I’ll be back in time for Gerling. At the back, I could only see a little of the stage, but I heard a beautiful performance of ‘Y Control’, ‘Maps’ (“Wait! They don’t love you like I love you”) and ‘Rich’. I didn’t hear ‘Tick’ and I was disappointed :( They sounded fantastic, and I know Karen O has a great stage presence, so I bet it would have been awesome down the front.

  • Gerling
The only Gerling songs I know are ‘Dust Me Selecta’, and ‘Who’s Ya Daddy’, so I’m not a huge fan, but the vibe in the Mix Up Tent was pretty hyped. They were two acts before the Scissor Sisters (!) and we wanted a good view of stage.

  • Bang Gang DJs
Still in the Mix Up Tent, we hung around to see the Kink regulars play conventional dance, and of course, the obligatory Bloc Party remix. The DJs doused the crowd in alcohol, threw empty cans into the audience (one of which almost killed the lens of a camera), and a giant inflatable carrot. Fun times.

  • Scissor Sisters
These people are the ultimate glam-rock band. Love Ana Matronic! Jake holds a special place in my heart too. They kicked off with ‘Take Your Mama’, performed my fave ‘Laura’, ‘Mary’, ‘Comfortably Numb’ along with a lot of new stuff featured on their upcoming album. It was good that we got in early, cause it was totally packed and you had to fight for breathing room, let alone dancing room! The roof started leaking mid-way, which meant it was raining outside, heralding the return of the mud! These guys finished their set, and the crowd was like “No way are you getting out of here without doing ‘Filthy/Gorgeous!’” so after an encore, they came back on stage, and the crowd went absolutely berserk throughout the song.

  • By this stage, we were totally content. We had a bloody fantastic time. We had no dramas getting on the bus back to Ballina, and it was the perfect end to a brilliant day.

    MONDAY

Our train caught on fire at Nambucca Heads. Yah. I know. And my mum told me that driving to Byron was dangerous! They fixed the problem, and ½ an hour we got back on the train.

Then this crazy girl and her mother got on the train. This girl, she was like a violent 5 year old in the body of a 19 year old. For 10 hours we had to witness and listen to this awful girl HIT her mother, call her mother all kinds of names, and generally be an terrible bully. And the whinging! Omigosh, the whinging. “I don’t wanna go to Sydney! I don’t wanna go to Kings Cross. People get murdered and robbed in Kings Cross!” I felt so sorry for her mother, and a little sorry for the girl herself. What a life.

Johanna and I played ‘Mr Squiggle’ and we made up the awesomest stories to accompany our pictures. Johanna – “So these two guys are having a fight to the death with magnets, and the guy who loses gets eaten by the shark. And there’s also a motorised butterfly coming to save them.” Me – “So we’re in this Western, it’s high noon, and the giant sheriff has hung one of the midgets. So the midgets are retaliating with giant arrows, and the giant sheriff is hurling cannonballs at them.” Here is a photo of Johanna with her handkerchief rabbit!

And if you thought that it couldn’t get worse than the girl & mother, and the Dickhead on the train, then one of the guys down the front was attempting to convince people that aliens exist!

We were SO glad to get off the train at Central. And as we went to the carpark, where the sky decided to dump torrential rain on our heads, just as we were leaving. We were like “Yah. That’d be about right.”

We had a gorgeous, brilliant time, and the most fun in the world! I loved it, and I’m so glad that we went. I really felt it, when I got the hugest reality this morning as I opened up my email inbox and saw 27 emails.

    Yeah, I’m back.

    Julia's 20th Birthday Lunch

Happy belated 20th Julia! It was good to see everyone again, seeing as I missed out on Govindas on Thursday night, with everyone (bar ski bunny Kylie) managing to make it to Little Italy!

We started off with bruschetta, topped with tomato, onions, and other good stuff (I don't really care, I just eat! And it was delicious). We also had Little Italy pizza (potato & rosemary), Margarita (isn't that a drink?) pizza, risotto, and many many pasta dishes, the most notable being the gnocchi - little clouds of potato and pasta in a cream & bacon sauce ... yum.

And the cake 'Death by Chocolate' - a huge mass of profiteroles, and chocolate mousse, topped with chocolate icing and chocolate pieces. Double yum.

We haven't changed at all during the past 2 years, despite not seeing each other for months on end - Julia's still a filthy gossip (I'm actually waiting for her to email me and say 'Donna, take that off your blog!') In truth, Julia's the sweetest, loveliest one out of all of us, so again, Happy Birthday Jules!

Birthday High Tea @ the Swissotel

I knew there were two words that would suck all my uni friends in: Dessert. Buffet. Promises of giddy sugar heights, gorgeous little desserts, and a chocolate fountain!

Mary was the first to arrive, and she got me one of the best presents ever! She made a t-shirt that said 'Donna' on the front, and 'Producer Extraordinaire' on the back! Also, she got me the cutest little earring and necklace to match! Melissa, gosh that girl puts in effort. She drove all the way from the BLUE MOUNTAINS, which is where she lives. Yes. The Blue Mountains. And I thought getting up to Wahroonga was hard! Gorgeous chandelier earrings and silver bangle from Luci. I wore the bangle straight away, I love it, it's such a simple and versatile piece! I'm sitting here and typing in the pink poodle PJs set that Anna got me, and i'm taking the set to Byron! It's bright pink and it makes me happy :)

Oh gosh, the creme brulee was soooo good. The fruit & chocolate tart was also very very good. The Sweet Berries (Strawberry & Raspberry) pink tea was a hit, not at all like the disappointing Twinings Raspberry tea i've tried before. I don't think words are enough ... just have a look at the photo!

Afterwards we went shopping, to the Myer sale which was a bit of a let down. However, we did manage to get a photo of Mary next to her favourite store, and namesake!

    very very ill

My birthday was only a few days ago, and I knew, like clockwork, it was time for the yearly flu attack. So for the past couple of days i've been housebound, sneezing, coughing, and wheezing, relying heavily on Strepsils (ignoring the recommended dosage of 1 every 2-3 hours), green tea, vegetable soup, and Lemsip capsules.

I'm slightly better now, but i've missed out on so much over the past few days! Firstly, I missed out on going to Govindas again with the high school gang, and seeing Capote (i've been meaning to see it for AGES), and secondly today, I was going to volunteer on a tv show pilot that could have potentially led to a paid gig. I suppose I could have gone, but my voice is still so very frog-like, and I need tissues and warm tea next to me at all times. I probably would have made everyone very uncomfortable!

Luckily, tomorrrow I think i'll be all recovered, ready for the high tea/dessert buffet! Expect drool-inducing photos tomorrow.

    'First Person' wrap party

We had our wrap party on the Level One balcony of the Marlborough Hotel last night. It was a fantastic, laidback night with everyone catching up over drinks, considerably helped by our Executive Producer Kim's donation of a $500 bar tab! Attendees included: Danni, Kim, Ivan, Viv, Paul (DOP), Maya, Dee, Tony, Father Ted, Mrs Ted, Viv's random friend, Dave & Shane.

Beautiful Danni got me a cake, seeing as the wrap party was on the same day of my birthday (I tried to avoid having it on this day, but it couldn't be helped!) I'm terrible with cutting cakes, I had to get Danni to slice it for me, and then I managed to massacre every single piece whilst handing it out.

Tony got sloshed fairly early, and began to repeat the story of 'First Person' over and over again, "It all started with 3 scotch and cokes, and then Viv told me to write a script. It was supposed to be three actors over one weekend ... how did it come to this?" and "Everybody scares the shit out of me! Father Ted you scare the shit out of me!" I also, by some way I can't remember, got roped into Tony and Danni's upcoming projects! But it's all good, I love working with them, so it should be excellent.

After Kim closed off the bar tab at 11pm, and they kicked us out of the balcony, and we went down into the courtyard on the ground level. By this stage, our party was reduced to Viv, Paul (DOP), Dave, Tony & Shane. Despite Dave and my protestations, Viv got us two vodka and red bulls, and then forced us to drink them because she had "give up her sovereignty" (? - apparently she went to the bar, didn't have enough money, couldn't remember her PIN, and had to borrow money off a stranger in exchange for a dance and political talk). Oh, another memorable moment was that guy that I believed was trying to hit on Paul & Dave! By the way, this is not Dave.

Good night out. These people are incredible, and i'm a little sad that I won't see some of them as much anymore :(

19th Birthday Party @ Kobe Jones & Star City

I celebrated my 19th birthday party early this year, to avoid the birthday curse (I have in past years repeatedly gotten sick on my birthday)! Unfortunately not all of my high school 'group' could make it, so it was just Laura, Ky, Rena, Soph & me.

We were early for our reservation so we strolled along King Street Wharf attempting to eat some waxy green apple licorice, catching up on everyone's lives.

The ambience at Kobe Jones was really nice - we were greeted at the door, and taken to a table with a waterfront view. It was dimly lit, which was terrible for taking photos of the food, but lent the place a gorgeous atmosphere. The service was excellent, our waitress was prompt with everything, clearing away plates, topping up tea, orders, and literally ten minutes after we ordered, the food arrived.

The volcano rolls were absolutely delicious, probably everyone's unanimous favourite. The presentation of each of the dishes was excellent. The fried soft shell crab with teriyaki potatoes, and the dragon rolls (which really did look like a dragon) came close as well. Disappointments of the night included the green tea salmon which was a little too salty, and the baked dynamite scallops weren't very 'dynamite!' with just a smatter of chilli sauce, but otherwise very good. I treated myself to a Kobe Jones Sunset cocktail, which was gorgeous, you could hardly taste the alcohol in it, it was just a wonderful mango peachy drink.

The dessert sampler was so cute! On the tray they had minatures of the resturant's desserts, complete with huge solid dark chocolate chopsticks.

Afterwards, on Laura's suggestion, we headed off to Star City where Soph, Ky, & Rena signed up as members and got $10 of free cash to spend on gaming. Ky won $22 dollars, so in effect, she won back her dinner ("I just pressed something, and I started winning, and I don't know why!") Photo of Ky with her cash.

All in all, a fantastic night out with friends I should really spend more time with. Remember, i'm joining some of you guys for your weekly Thursday-before-TAFE dinners!

*Thanks to Laura for the photos

    Sam's Farewell Party

Bye Singapore Sam! Last night I went to Sam's Farewell Party @ Paddy McGuires, 10pm. I was a little put off by the time (Monday night?! 10pm?!), but apparently it's when all the international students crash the pub, something about the beer being cheaper.

The international students were on a mission to get drunk, as fast as possible and on a budget. Sam confessed to me last Monday he got so sloshed that he was 'attempting' breakdance on the floor of the pub. In other gossip, apparently the international students on our table (the large majority) had hooked up with each other at one point during their stay ("Lots of tension & drama within this group - great material for a doco!")

I hung out in the corner with the minority of Sydney locals, where I met Linda and Emma, lovely 4th year Business/Law students at UTS (pictured).

All in all, a good relaxed night out, and a fitting goodbye party for Sam.

    Auburn RSL buffet

The good 'ol buffet is the ultimate in suburban dining. My family trekked out to Auburn RSL for an all-you-can-eat buffet, and the place was PACKED! In terms of buffet, this one was pretty good with the variety of seafood; oysters, prawns, mussels, and crab. And as usual, kids were running around hitting each other, people pushed in line, and made competitive grabs for the serving spoons.

Also, in true buffet style, my mother took a lot of the food with her after the meal. Now, I want some validation here that my family isn't the only one that does this. In total my mum took:
  • 5 mandarins
  • Slice of beef for my dog (wrapped conveniently in a plastic bag brought along for such a situation)
  • Bread and butter pudding
  • Chocolate mint slice
  • Chocolate hedgehog slice

It's really funny also to see my mum hiding food as if on some covert mission! Bless her cotton socks.

Auburn RSL also fulfilled the concept that 'family' dining really means that the food is shit but there sure is a lot of it!
  • Mary's Twenteen Party

Happy Twenteen Mary! We went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Darlinghurst last night to celebrate with people from uni and Mary's crazy high school people. It was gonna be a good night, 'specially with Hendrix looking down at us from up above.

First up was drinks at the bar before everyone arrived. Both Mary & Anna had 'Sex On the Beach' cocktails, so therefore both "Mary & Anna had sex on the beach." (Can't remember who to give credit to for this comment!)

Then we were seated, and ordered food. Every second person on our table had a chocolate brownie, this hardcore dessert, which was absolutely HUGE! Pic of Anna dipping hot chips in the leftover icecream of her brownie.

Mary pushed the Apple Cobbler dessert as the ultimate! And, surprise, surprise, Mary got a birthday Cobbler, courtesy of Anna & Keya who sneakily told the staff it was Mary's birthday. We sang 'Happy Birthday' with the staff, who were great, and used the opportunity to bash the shit out of the lamps overhead. But the staff were great, and earned extra kudos when they turned up the Artic Monkeys up loud.

Keya also jumped on the Apple Cobbler bandwagon and this is Keya "doing the sex" (Jorgie's words).

And to cap off the night, I bumped into my cousin who I haven't seen in ages! And when I say ages, I mean, I needed to ask Mary "What's that guy's name?" to confirm my suspicions. Why haven't I kept in touch with my cousins? Long family story.

Another awesome night. Unfortunately uni people Anna, Keya, Oyvind & I couldn't stay for drinks, but I don't think we could fit much in after that effort!
